The Charlton Farm Bed & Breakfast is a historic 30 acre estate in Avon, NY. The estate has been closed to guests for the past several years, but we are excited to get the property up and running again. We specialize in outdoor weddings during the warmer months and during the quieter months we will be opening up the bed & breakfast to guests once again. We are currently working hard to restore the house to its turn-of-the-century aesthetic so that it will be ready in time for wedding season. If you are interested in our wedding services feel free to message us for more details or visit our website at www.charltonfarmny.com. We’re looking forward to seeing where this adventure takes us!
The historic Charlton Farm was built in 1894 for Emmett Jennings & Emma Durand by J Foster Warner, the very same architect who built the George Eastman House. Emmett Jennings was a stagecoach manufacturer who started the stagecoach route from Avon to Rochester. Parties hosted by the Jennings included well known people such as George Eastman.
The Charlton Farm sits on 30 acres of pristine land in the town of Avon near the Finger Lakes, an area well known for it's wineries and craft breweries.
