Need a little water therapy? As home to two of New York's stunning Finger Lakes and the Genesee River, we have excellent boating, swiming, and fishing spots all throughout the county! Conesus Lake is the westernmost of New York's eleven Finger Lakes. It is located off Interstate 390 about 15 miles south of Interstate 90. Conesus Lake offers four public boat launch sites, a designated swimming area and beach with a lifeguard, weekly concerts at Vitale Park on the north end of the lake, and frequent festivals and events at Long Point Park on the west side of the lake. Seasonal freshwater and ice fishing provide anglers opportunities to bag Bluegill, Brown trout, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Smallmouth Bass, Tiger Musky, Walleye, and Yellow Perch.
