2025 MostArts Festival presents the Young Pianist Competition Finalists
When
Eight high school students from across the U.S. have been chosen for the 2025 Young Pianist Competition, hosted by the MostArts Festival, which be held on the Alfred University campus from July 13-19. Their performances include Solo Recitals on Wed. afternoon, July 16 and with the International Festival Orchestra under the direction of Steven Thomas Thursday and Friday nights.
Don’t miss a moment of the excitement as you watch these talented young pianists compete for a $10,000 Grand Prize and a chance to return to performing in the Opening Gala Concert of 2026.

- Nathan Zhao, 18 years old from Bothell, Washington
- Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor
