Join the community for the 2nd Annual Sgt. Sanfratello Memorial Ride on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Alexander Firemen's Recreation Hall. This community event honors the life and service of Sgt. Thomas A. Sanfratello, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on March 10, 2024, while celebrating the dedication of first responders throughout Genesee County.
The escorted memorial ride welcomes motorcycles, cars, trucks, emergency service vehicles, and the community to participate or line the route in support. Guests are also invited to enjoy basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle, and breakfast and lunch available for purchase through the Alexander Fire Department.
Admission to participate in the ride is a donation of one new, unwrapped toy (Hot Wheels cars are especially appreciated) or a cash donation of any amount. Toys collected will be donated to Genesee County Department of Social Services for holiday distribution, while monetary proceeds benefit the Sgt. Thomas Sanfratello Scholarship Fund and Genesee County Shop with a Cop.
Whether you choose to join the ride, support the fundraising efforts, or simply come out to thank the first responders who serve our communities, all are welcome to be part of this meaningful day of remembrance and community spirit.
