Spend an evening with Edgar Allan Poe through a haunting monologue that blends his greatest works with stories from his life. This year’s performances will take place inside the Carriage Barn, with two showtimes available.

Arrive early and visit the Exhibition Barn for a specialty food and drink menu inspired by Poe’s unforgettable stories. Doors and food service begin at 5 pm.

Showtimes: 6:30 and 8:30 pm

Poe-Inspired Cocktails:

• The Maelstrom — A color-changing tropical gin and tonic

• The Tell-Tale Heart — Warm mulled red wine

• The Raven — A blackberry vodka Moscow Mule

• The Usher — Root beer whiskey with marshmallow fluff

All specialty cocktails are also available as mocktails. Beer, wine, hard cider, coffee, tea, soda and water will also be served.

Food Menu:

• The Gold Bug — Beef-filled taco crunch wrap with warm salsa con queso

• The Pit & the Pendulum — Roasted tomato basil soup with a provolone and mozzarella panini

• Dr. Tarr & Professor Fether’s Insanely Good Salad — Mixed greens, roasted beets, oranges, feta, hard-boiled egg and toasted almonds with blood orange vinaigrette

• The Cask of Amontillado French Dip — Roast beef, brisket, sherried mushrooms, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese and chive aioli with au jus
