Have you ever wondered if you could survive by yourself in the woods? Join us at the Visitor Center to learn some basic survival techniques for finding food, purifying water, and building shelter. Activities will include hands-on projects and a short hike to look for resources.

Date and Time: Saturday April 27th, 10:00am-12:00pm

Location: 1101 Casey Road, Basom, NY 14013; Meet in the multipurpose room at the Visitor Center.

Registration Information: Pre-registration is REQUIRED. Send an email to logan_sauer@fws.gov or call/leave a message at 612-759-8662.

Activity and Accessibility: Easy, will involve sitting, standing, and walking on trail. Restrooms and water fountains are located in the visitor center.

What to Bring: This program is held partly indoors and outdoors, dress for the weather. Cancellation notices will appear on Facebook.
