Birds aren't the only animals that migrate. Every spring, on the first warm rainy night, the mole salamanders emerge from their hidden homes to make the long journey to the vernal pool to reproduce. Join the Genesee Country Village & Museum for a night hike to the vernal pool to look for migrating salamanders. The evening will end with a camp fire and a reading of the beautiful story Big Night for Salamanders by Sarah Lamstein.
