Community Songwriting Night

Event has endedCommunity Songwriting Night, presented by
The Palmer Opera House and Song Kitchen Radio
Each of us has a voice; we have voices we share with others. Each of us has a story to tell;
our communities share common stories. There is always another song, waiting to be sung!
On June 11th at 6:30 pm, at the Palmer Opera House, Cuba, NY individuals, friends and
families are invited to a songwriting workshop, hosted by area songwriters Paul Psathas,
Kathie Martin, “Buckwheat (aka Eric Scutt) and Don Burger.
Our circle of songwriter/musicians will help with whatever you need, and should you
decide to present your song(s) to our monthly Open Mic Night, they will give you all the
encouragement and musical assistance that you need. You will have an opportunity to
share your song on WRAQ Song Kitchen Radio, 92.7FM, which airs every Thursday from
7-8pm at www.wraq.org. Each person who completes the workshop will be awarded a
certificate for participating in this community building event.
