Join us at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge for a special program with Kathy Contrino focused on transforming your yard into a welcoming habitat for birds. Learn how invasive species impact local ecosystems and bird populations, and discover practical, easy-to-implement strategies for managing invasives in your own landscape. Kathy will share tips on selecting native plants, improving food and shelter resources, and creating healthier outdoor spaces that support birds year-round. Whether you have a large yard, small garden, or even a balcony, this program will provide actionable ideas to help birds thrive while contributing to conservation in your community.
