Rural and Traditional Arts Fellowship Exhibition: Presented in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), this exhibition showcases the work of the first two cohorts of the Rural and Traditional Arts Fellowship, administered statewide by Shake on the Lake. The Fellowship embraces a “placebased” approach, supporting artists who live and work in rural communities and honoring the deep connections between creativity, land, and local culture.

Jaylah Sherman: First Solo Exhibition: GO ART! is pleased to feature the expressive and deeply personal work of 21 year old artist Jaylah Sherman, whose paintings explore mental health, identity, and the whimsical corners of self-reflection. Sherman’s work blends metaphor, symbolism, and emotional honesty, offering viewers an unfiltered look into her lived experience.

Sherman has also contributed significantly to GO ART!’s visual environment, painting murals throughout the building—including the Alice in Wonderland–themed bathroom, kitchen monsters, and a mermaid at the rear entrance.

Skylar Sharpe: Landscapes, Florals & Abstractions: The Oliver Gallery features the vibrant, atmospheric paintings of Skylar Sharpe, an emerging artist from Byron, NY. Sharpe’s work explores the tension and harmony between abstraction and representation, pairing expressive landscapes with detailed florals and bold graphic patterns.

GLOW OUT! Pride 2026: Rooted in Resistance: In celebration of Pride Month, GO ART! presents GLOW OUT!’s Pride 2026: Rooted in Resistance, an exhibition honoring LGBTQ+ artists whose work amplifies visibility, resilience, and community identity. The exhibition underscores the essential role LGBTQ+ individuals play in shaping cultural understanding and community life.

Opening Reception: Thursday, June 18, 2026 6:00 PM – Reception (with artist talks starting at 6:30 PM) Light refreshments and a cash bar are available.

Exhibition Dates: June 18 – August 8, 2026
