Coming up next in our 2021 John L. Wehle Gallery Lecture Series:
Saturday, June 12: "Tartan & Plaid Mania!"
Visit the John L Wehle Gallery at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. for a historic fashion series event focusing on the 19th-Century tartan and plaid craze. View examples of luscious tartan silks, hardy plaid cottons, and wools for men and women.
Saturday, June 26: "Gallery Grand Tour Weekends: Fan Favorites - Frederick Remington"
Stop by the John L. Wehle Gallery at 12 p.m. or 2 p.m. for a Gallery Grand Tour Weekend event. This hour-long talk will focus on the works of Remington, particularly two bronzes currently on display: “Bronco Buster” and “The Rattlesnake.”
Both talks are hosted by curator Brandon Brooks and are included with your Museum admission.
