Description: You are invited to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with the Oakfield Community. We are planning an evening of music, a moment of recognition for our Veterans and First Responders, "old-time" children's games and activities, and a special tree dedication in our park by the Village Mayor and Town Supervisor commemorating America's 250th! The Oakfield Historical Society will have a special display of Oakfield History, and the Betterment Committee will be gathering special stories and pictures for a memory book to be displayed at the Historical Society. The Oak Church will have brownies, and Girl Scout Troop 41557 will be providing lemonade.
Other Things To Note: We continue to add more to an already exciting evening event. Please watch social media, news outlets, and local businesses for more information. A special THANK YOU to the community members who helped to bring this special event to Oakfield: Village and Town of Oakfield, Oakfield Historical Society, Haxton Memorial Library, Oakfield Betterment Committee, The Oak Church, Girl Scout Troop 41557, Veterans, and Oakfield Fire Dept.
Bring a Chair, blanket, or something to sit on.
