Discover the basics of traditional leatherworking during this hands-on workshop! Before plastics became common, leather and other hides were widely used, and stitching was an essential skill for creating and repairing everyday items.
Participants will practice historic stitching techniques while making a small leather case for a pair of snips. At the end of the class, each guest will take home their finished case, a four-inch hand-forged snip and new leatherworking skills.
All participants must be age 18 or older.
