Support a great cause this Valentine’s Day at Paws for a Cause, a community donation event benefiting Volunteers for Animals and the Genesee County Animal Shelter. Guests are invited to drop off items from the shelter’s donation list or make a monetary contribution. A chance auction featuring gift certificates from local businesses adds extra fun to the day.
A live remote broadcast with WBTA 100.1/106.1 FM | AM 1490 will take place from 11 AM – 1 PM.
Requested donation items include:
- Kitten food (Purina ONE Healthy Kitten preferred)
- Cat food (Purina ONE Indoor Advantage preferred)
- Dry dog food (Purina ONE Chicken & Rice preferred)
- Bleach
- Laundry soap
- Paper towels
- Q-tips
- Cotton balls
- Rubbing alcohol
- Non-clumping cat litter
- Cat litter boxes
- Leashes
- KONGs
- Peanut butter (for rawhide treat prep).
