In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the art of crafting seed balls, compact spheres of clay and native seeds designed to be scattered in gardens or natural areas to promote biodiversity. Additionally, attendees will explore the ancient craft of paper making, using recycled materials to create handmade paper embedded with wildflower seeds, perfect for greeting cards, bookmarks, or eco-friendly gifts. Join us to learn practical skills, engage in eco-conscious practices, and cultivate a deeper connection to the natural world through hands-on activities that inspire both artistry and environmental stewardship.

Date and Time: Saturday, May 25th, drop-in between 10:00am-3:00pm.

Location: Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center

Activity Level and Accessibility: Easy-active, will involve mixing, getting hands dirty and wet.

What to Bring: Please bring clothes that you might get dirty in.
