Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, passengers will relive the magic of the story as they are whisked away on THE POLAR EXPRESS™. Once onboard, hot chocolate and treats are served as passengers read along with the classic children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg. Santa and his helpers greet passengers at the North Pole and then board the train, where each child is given the first gift of Christmas – a silver sleigh bell. Chefs aboard each car lead passengers in singing Christmas carols on the ride back to Medina. Families can explore the railroad museum’s exhibits and interactive model train layout and take a Christmas photo in Santa’s sleigh.

TRAIN TIME DEPARTURES: 11:20 a.m., 12:40 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:20 p.m., 4:40 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Tickets for the rides must be purchased in advance. Polar Express tickets are $54 for first class and $38 for coach. Passengers in first class receive their cocoa in a souvenir mug with whipped cream. Passengers in first class receive their cocoa in a souvenir mug with whipped cream and a chocolate train. All tickets include admission into the museum, hot cocoa, a cookie and a bell for children.
