Discover the timeless craft of wool spinning during this hands-on workshop! Learn a skill practiced by generations of New Yorkers while exploring the differences between wool from various sheep breeds.

Participants will learn how to use a drop spindle and practice turning wool into yarn. At the end of the workshop, each guest will take home a drop spindle and several ounces of wool roving to continue “plying” their new skills at home.

All participants must be age 16 or older. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a paid adult ticket holder.
