Every Yuletide leaves behind its own echoes—laughter in a tavern, a carol caught in the rafters and candlelight glowing through a winter window.
Celebrate Genesee Country Village & Museum’s 50th anniversary during Yuletide in the Country. This immersive guided tour revisits beloved moments from celebrations past, including lively winter balls, spirited tavern tales, candlelit homes, church carols and the quiet magic of St. Nicholas.
Led by a costumed guide and the glow of lantern light, each group will visit seven decorated buildings throughout the 19th-century Historic Village. Tours depart from the Meeting Center and last approximately 90 minutes.
Specialty Tours on December 13:

ASL-Interpreted Tour at 3:15 pm: Features the complete Yuletide experience with certified ASL interpretation at every scene

Mobility-Friendly Tour at 3:30 pm: Provides additional travel time between buildings and assistance from the Security team
Complete your evening with a festive Yuletide Dinner Buffet filled with savory and sweet holiday favorites. Tour and dinner tickets must be purchased separately, so allow approximately 90 minutes between the two experiences.
Guests may also visit the Meeting Center Lounge for sweets, hot beverages, a cash bar and a roaring fire. Dinner reservations are not required to enjoy the lounge.
The Flint Hill Store will be open each evening with seasonal gifts, Village-made pottery, maple products, fudge, GCV&M merchandise and more.
Holiday event tickets go on sale in early October 2026. Museum members receive discounted tour tickets.
