Visit the oldest county forest in New York State! With outstanding, well maintained trails and a beautiful interpretive center, this park is well worth a visit. 431 acres of rolling hills, self-guided nature trails, playgrounds, ball fields, a toboggan hill, and picnic pavilions available for rent.
Open daily, year-round. Restrooms with flush toilets and running water in the park are open May – October. Port-a-johns in the park and restrooms inside the Interpretive Nature Center during open hours Thursday - Sunday are available the rest of the year.”

Snow Shoe Rentals:
Snowshoe Rentals are available at the Genesee County Park & Forest Interpretive Nature Center from 10 am to 3 pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and 12 pm to 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays from December through March, weather permitting. Snowshoes must be used in the park. Sizes are available for ages 3 and up. Fee is $5/pair and all proceeds go to the ACORNS organization supporting the park. Forests, meadows, and surprises are waiting for you!
