Located in Perry, New York, East Hill Creamery is part of the Burley family's long history of farming in Wyoming County. Gary and Betty Burley began East Hill Farm in 1981 with 100 acres and 18 cows. Today, their family operates a much larger dairy farm, and the creamery uses milk from their own grass-fed, pasture-raised cows to produce its cheeses.

The result is a true farm-to-table cheese experience, with the milk traveling from the family's own farm to the creamery and ultimately becoming distinctive Alpine-style cheeses.

East Hill Creamery produces a selection of handcrafted cheeses made from raw milk from the family's own dairy farm in Wyoming County. The creamery's Alpine-style cheeses showcase the quality of the milk and the flavors of the grass on which the cows graze.

Visitors can discover several signature varieties, including:

• Happy Accident – a creamy, tangy cheese that became one of the creamery's popular varieties.

Tours last approximately 1½ hours and include a cheese tasting. Group tours are available for families, organizations and tour groups.

There's even a 24/7 cheese vending machine located outside the store, stocked with East Hill's cheeses and additional goodies.

The Chalet at East Hill

Located above the creamery, The Chalet at East Hill provides a distinctive setting for weddings, celebrations, meetings and other special events.

Completed in 2017, the venue features Amish post-and-beam construction using red oak, hemlock and white pine, along with large colonial windows that combine rustic character with a sophisticated, open atmosphere.

The multi-level venue is handicap accessible and includes four private rooms, a balcony and views into the creamery's cheese caves. Event rentals include tables, chairs, china, glassware, cutlery and linens, as well as the assistance of a dedicated event coordinator.

The Chalet is currently accepting bookings for 2026 and 2027.
