The foundation of the Oakes family legacy began when Leonard Oakes bought land in the northwest corner of Orleans County, forging the beginnings in agriculture. Four generations have farmed the same land, establishing Leonard Oakes Estate Winery in 2003, an award-winning producer of handcrafted artisanal wines and ciders. Enjoy a glass of fine wine in the vineyard or a flight of the best wines with local cheeses, charcuterie and chocolate in the tasting room. Now features craft beverages from 810 Meadworks and Northridge Distillery.
